There was a time when the Republican party was best for America, even up to and partially into the Reagan administration. They had good leadership, good social policies, and good fiscal policies. Now, the Republican party is just a large group of small factions, while the Christian extremists are taking advantage of the opportunity for power. They hate Romney for being Mormon, they hate Perry for having compassion for children of foreign immigrants, they hate Michele Bachmann for, (I’m sorry, they actually love her.) They hate Barack Obama, which is the same fate of Herman Cain. The Republican Party used to be a unifying party, but now it is the most divisive entity in US politics. Why pander to the extreme far right?
